New paintings
We live in a time when contempt masquerades as strength, dehumanization is packaged as progress, and greed is mistaken for success. Individualism is hailed as freedom, while compassion is too often dismissed as weakness. Beneath it all, fear and shame ripple quietly, shaping much of our world. As a quiet act of resistance, in my new series, Hope and Belonging, I seek to amplify the necessity of human interconnection, the enduring power of collective hope, and the beauty found in mutual care and love.
At the heart of this series is Chorus of Hope, composed of a growing number of smaller paintings. Each painting carries its own distinct spark of faith yet belongs to a greater whole, serving as a reminder that hope grows stronger in connection, and that we are not alone in our yearning for light. New paintings will continue to join the chorus, and the evolving image, along with opportunities to order available or new pieces, will be shared on my website.
Alongside this series, I am also excited to be sharing new work from my Praise the Rain and Imaginary Terrains series.
